Child and youth are a concern for CRMS as mental health starts with families. To provide aid to agencies responsible for the care of children and youth, CRMS has taken the first steps in developing a data management system that can collect information required by the agencies to better help the families.

CRMS provides a method to called family background, guardianship, and education statistics of their clients. CRMS also provides a location to enter the dates of BCFPI and CAFAS information. Through the use of CRMS agencies can track the intake packages sent to the clients and received from the clients. CRMS enables agencies to use the associations module as a method used to collect statistics on clients who are family related for reason of reporting to the ministry.
